Sallisaw Man Injured in Crash

A 23-year-old Sallisaw man was reported to have been admitted to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa Thursday following a one-vehicle crash on State Highway 101.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reported Joshua Davis, 23, was transported by personal vehicle to the Tulsa hospital where he was admitted in stable condition with trunk, arm and internal injuries.

The OHP reported Davis was driving a 2003 Nissan east on State Highway 101 when he failed to negotiate a curve and struck an electrical line and fence, causing the vehicle to overturn twice.

The crash occurred at about 4:41 a.m. Thursday, about three miles north and six miles east of Sallisaw, the OHP reported.
