A Muldrow man has been indicted by the U.S. Grand Jury in Muskogee for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Edward Robert Saldana II, 29, was indicted on allegations that on Dec. 10 and on Jan. 5 he had possession of firearms that had been shipped and transported in interstate commerce. The charge resulted from an investigation the Sallisaw Police Department, the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Department and the Drug enforcement Administration.
The charge is punishable by not more than 10 years imprisonment and up to a $250,000 fine, or both, according to a press release from the U.S. attorney’s office in Muskogee.
