Free@YourLibrary


Macrophotography will be the subject of a photo class at 5 p.m. Monday at Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library in Sallisaw.

The class is free and open to the public.

Macrophotography is close-up photography, usually of very small subjects. This class will be taught by Larry Millican of Bedford Camera and Video of Fort Smith.

Also this month at the Sallisaw library will be

-a special presentation by Darby Bybee, meteorologist, at 11 a.m. Monday;

-story time at 10:30 a.m. every Tuesday;

-book review luncheons at noon on Jan. 13 and 27;

-sketching classes at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 21 and 28; and

-the Teen Workshop Science Experiments at 4 p.m. on Jan. 25.

The library will be closed on Martin Luther King Day, Jan. 18.
