Lumber Stolen from Church


Approximately $500 worth of lumber was stolen from Mt. Olive Church, south of Vian, sometime during the evening of Aug. 30 and the morning of Aug. 31, according to the Sequoyah County Sheriff's Office.

Investigator B.R. Rutherford is handling the case and anyone with information is asked to contact him at (918) 775-1213 or (918) 775-9155.

Church officials report 41 sheets of Blandex lumber was stolen between 7:30 p.m. Aug. 30 and noon on Aug. 31.
