Sallisaw Public Schools has announced that they will be holding the 2017 high school graduation in the high school gymnasium instead of at the football field.
According to school officials the decision to move the ceremony was based on weather concerns.
The graduation ceremony is scheduled for Friday, May 19th at 8:00 p.m. Gymnasium doors will open at 6:30 p.m. There will be no reserve seating.
The ceremony will also be broadcast live on MixTV Channel 19 and 819 or at kxmx.com.
The Mix 105.1 will be filming the graduation and will have DVD's for sale for $15 each. To reserve a DVD please call 918-790-4444.
