Fish Fry Planned to Raise Funds for Body Cams


The Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office Reserve Deputies are holding a fish fry on Friday to raise funds to purchase body cameras for officers.

The fish fry will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Sequoyah County Fairgrounds.

Meals will be $7 per person and the menu includes fried fish, potatoes, beans, hush puppies and a soft drink.

Sheriff Larry Lane will be present along with his deputies and investigators.

All proceeds will be used to purchase the body cameras.
