A felony warrant has been issued for a 32-year-old man, with a Vian address according to court records, for failure to register as a sex offender.
Charles Lawrence Woolsey was released Feb. 8 from the Sequoyah County Jail on his own recognizance with a court appearance date of Feb. 26. Woolsey did not appear for the set court date and failed to register as a sex offender. According to the court affidavit Woolsey was convicted of sexual battery of a person over 16 years on March 1, 2013.
A felony warrant was issued for his arrest on April 2 by the Sequoyah County District Court, and it carries a $5,000 bond.
