Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children will host a CASA 101 informational session to highlight the need for more individuals to serve as volunteers. Drop by the CASA office located at 102 E. Chickasaw Ave. in Sallisaw anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18th, to talk with members of the CASA staff about how you can change the life of an abused or neglected child.
This is a no-obligation introduction to CASA and its mission. The information session will discuss the critical role a CASA volunteer plays in the life of a child in foster care and share stories of the lasting impacts they make.
CASA recruits, trains, and empowers everyday community members to advocate for abused and neglected children in Sequoyah County.
