Real Heroes Will Meet Public on June 21

Come and meet a real hero!

Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library in Sallisaw invites children and adults to meet the real heroes from 10 to 11 am on June 21.

That’s when members of the Sallisaw Police and Fire Departments, the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Department, Pafford EMS and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol will be at the parking lot on the library’s west side. They will visit with kids of all ages, explain what they do to keep us all safe, and they will pose for photos.

The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. For more information contact the library at 918-775-4481.
