Sallisaw police report a truck has accidentally dumped a load of rock in the middle of Interstate 40’s eastbound lanes, right before the 308 exit on Sallisaw’s west side.
Police report, “Traffic is barely moving.”
Officials are working now (1:23 pm) to remove the rock. Please use caution if traveling in this area.
