Sequoyah County Adds Additional COVID-19 Case


According to the Oklahoma State Department of Health numbers for July 2, COVID-19 cases continue to rise within the county. 

Statistics show one new confirmed case within the county bringing the current total to 41 with 3 deaths. 26 individuals have recovered completely and 3 are in the recovery process.

Mandi Collins with the Sequoyah County Health Dept. stated that they are testing 40-50 individuals per week.

Statewide the numbers show an increase of 427 cases since Wednesday bringing the new state total to 14,539. 

To date there have been 395 deaths within the state with 6 new ones added to Wednesday's numbers.
