G2 Media is continuing to expand our coverage of area events with a new and exciting partnership with Carl Albert State College (CASC) in Poteau and Sallisaw.
This partnership will allow many of the wonderful events happening on the CASC campuses to be broadcast to our viewers on The Mix 105.1 Facebook, MixTV Channel 19 and the new social platform VikingTV.
Viewers can look forward to seeing many CASC events such the Miss Carl Albert Pageant, CASC Baseball and Softball, exciting lecture series, E-sporting events and more.
We will kick off this new venture with an airing of the Carl Albert State College Fine Arts night Tuesday, Nov. 17. This musical showcase will feature the CASC Community Choir, CASC Showchoir, and High School musical groups from Poteau, Sallisaw, Spiro and Muldrow.
The broadcast will begin at 7 pm and can be viewed on The Mix 105.1 and VikingTV Facebook pages as well as MixTV Channel 19.
CASC is an integral part of our community offering students a world-class education at an affordable price. CASC has been voted the Best Community College in Oklahoma and currently stands as No. 11 in the nation for graduation rates among community colleges. Their main campus is in Poteau, with a branch campus in Sallisaw, and they also offer eight degrees and three certificate programs completely online.
