Vian Hosts Summer Games This Weekend

The Summer Games are coming to Vian this Saturday.

Set to begin at 10 a.m. Saturday in downtown Vian, the Summer Games will feature corn hole, horseshoes, volleyball and 3-on-3 basketball.

Teams of two will participate in the corn hole and horseshoes competitions, while volleyball will have up to four players per team. The 3-on-3 basketball will include four divisions: 12 and under, 13-14, 15-18, and an adult division.

Entry fees are $40 per team for corn hole, horseshoes and volleyball. First-, second- and third-place finishers in volleyball, corn hole and horseshoes will receive 100 percent payback.

To enter, stop by the Vian Town Hall before Saturday, or sign up at the event from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday.

Each event will have a tournament director; all disputes will be handled by the event director and will be the final decision.

Spectators can also enjoy inflatables, food trucks and more during the Vian Summer Games.
