Only one candidate filed for the election of Rural Fire Protection District 1, Board of Directors, Post 5.
Edward “Ed” Carlile Henshaw filed earlier this week as the one candidate for the post. Henshaw is also the incumbent.
The election for the post was scheduled to be held with the general election in November, but since there is only one candidate for the post, that candidate will automatically take office, and no election for the post will be held.
