Drugs and paraphernalia confiscated
Richard Darren Stites, 52, of Sallisaw was arrested Saturday on drug-related charges, Sequoyah County Sheriff Larry Lane reported.
Stites is being held without bond.
Lane said Sheriff’s Deputies Galen Irvin and Colton Goff, Sheriff’s Investigator Dwayne Frizell and Sallisaw Police Lt. Herb Hutchinson teamed up for the investigation and arrest at a rural Sallisaw residence after they received information that drugs were being kept and sold there. Officers confiscated methamphetamine, marijuana, and prescription narcotics as well as scales, baggies and paraphernalia
