"The repo people" were motoring along with two repossessed vehicles on Interstate 40 Monday when they had to pull into the Travel Center on the westbound side of the interstate when the older model mini-van they were driving began popping under the hood. Sallisaw Fire Chief Anthony Armstrong said the Sallisaw Fire Department was dispatched at 1:20 p.m. Monday to the fire. Armstrong reported no one was injured in the fire, but the mini-van had major damage under the hood, and was most likely totaled. Armstrong said firefighters were on scene for about 30 minutes extinguishing the fire.
